 Handicap Accessibility

Handicap accessible symbol

The Josephine Harron Park and giftshop are handicap accessible; however, the elephant building is not. The elephant building was built in 1881 and requires the visitor to walk up and then down a narrow spiral staircase and a couple of steps. If you don't want to make the trip up inside Lucy, feel free to stop by the gift shop where we can show you photographs taken from inside and also from on top of Lucy's howdah.

The Josephine Harron Park includes a small flower garden with waterfall, picnic tables, and of course Lucy and ocean breezes. The gift shop is also handicap accessible with a ramp. Handicap parking is available on Atlantic Avenue right behind Lucy's behind. (Her rear faces Atlantic Avenue.)

 Parking

Limited complimentary parking is available for those visiting Lucy or the gift shop. If you plan to visit Lucy and then the beach or a restaurant, please understand parking is only availble during your visit with Lucy. Unfortunately we don't have enough spaces for everyone, so you will need to move your vehicle after you visit with Lucy. We have a 30 minute maximum and towing is enforced.

Parking is available on Atlantic Avenue and on numerous side streets.
